Nina Malvar incorporated Kartini Asia in 2000 to combine her business in Landscape design and contract work with her business of supplying a wide variety of furniture and decorative accessories which are principally sourced from Indonesia. Her interest and passion in creating Balinese landscapes inspired her to collaborate landscape design with Indonesian interiors and furniture.

With Nina's vision and originality, Kartini Asia Inc. has established a permanent niche in lifestyle landscapes. Kartini embodies the passion of Nina Malvar in creating lifestyle landscapes, which allow a seamless flow between the relaxing tropical outdoor and the warm finish of the interiors. Water is the unifying element of her landscapes whether in the refreshing sound of the cascading waterfalls or the inviting calmness of a water fountain.

Kartini Asia recently opened its showplace at the Alabang Town Center, featuring different garden styles, a flower shop, plant nursery, elegant furnishings and attractive natural stones. The company's wide variety of furniture, decorative accessories and natural stones have diverse uses, from decorative wall relief, tiles and fountain ensembles to steps, paving and walkway. Major offerings include Paras stone, Palimanan sandstone and Lava stone. Sourcing is principally from Indonesia but the company has expanded its sources to include items from the Philippines, Burma, India and Vietnam.

Complimenting the beauty of the natural surroundings are the colorful array of tropical flowers at Kartini Flora.  Kartini’s signature flower is the lovely lisianthus, which is reminiscent of softly blown roses and is available in a wide array of colors-pink, two-tone pink, purple, white, green and yellow.

Kartini is a one- stop place for garden lovers and design enthusiasts. It is an oasis amidst the bustle and haste of the mall at the Alabang Town Center. One can enjoy the beauty of nature at its best over a cup of Kartini’s Java brew.
